Schlosspark Hellbrunn is a wunderkammer of garden design. Experience history in a refreshingly different way in and around wonderful ‚Lustschloss Hellbrunn‘. The palace, the park and its stunning water games take you to another time.
At the start of the 17th Century prince-archbishop Markus Sittikus commissioned an extensive palace. Italian architekt Santino Solari created a Renaissance style gem on an area spanning 60 hectares, designing a unique total work of art, which is one of the most important recreation areas in Salzburg today.
In te park area, which is described as being a wunderkammer in garden design, countless sights await, including the English garden, the Steintheater, the Monatsschlössl and an ensemble of water games that are globally unique. After an idyllic stroll, enjoy an abundant picnic in the palace gardens.
