A new bee folk has flown in

We discovered this in our own orchard!

A new home for thousands of bees!

A special visit to our orchard: a swarm of bees recently settled in our garden and created an impressive natural spectacle. Together with our bee expert Alois, the colony of bees was carefully captured and then safely relocated to one of his beehives.

A swarm of bees is formed when an existing colony grows and divides - a fascinating and completely natural process. It was a very special moment for us to be able to observe the thousands of busy bees up close. With a great deal of experience, calm and sensitivity, Alois ensured that the bees were able to find a new home.

Now the colony continues to buzz in one of his hives and makes an important contribution to nature and our region. Bees play a crucial role in our orchard in particular, as they pollinate the fruit trees and thus promote the variety and quality of our fruit.

For us, this experience is once again a great example of how important sustainability, regionality and a respectful approach to nature are. A big thank you to Alois for his commitment and passion for beekeeping!
