The Liechtensteinnklamm gorge in St. Johann.

Hiking in the Liechtenstein Gorge.

Explore the white water gorge in all weathers - except in the winter months, sturdy shoes and warmer clothing are recommended depending on the season. The mighty roar of the waterfall, the moss-covered stones in lush green, a legendary atmosphere and sunbeams that create a rainbow in the water dust. In the heart of Salzburger Land, you can see the Liechtenstein Gorge for yourself, where you will find not only one of the most beautiful, but also one of the deepest and longest gorges in the Alps.

Liechtenstein Gorge & waterfall.

1,000 of its 4,000 meters in length are accessible to you: you visit the gorge, which is only a few meters wide in some places, on exciting wooden walkways. Safe bridges and footbridges guide you through the up to 300 meter deep rocks to the end of the gorge, where there is a waterfall.

Our reception team will be happy to provide you with further information.
