On the trail of a genius
Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart was born in the so-called "Hagenauer Haus" on January 27, 1756 - a musical prodigy who continues to inspire the world to this day.
Together with his sister Nannerl and his parents, Mozart spent the first years of his life here before the family moved in 1773. Today, the building houses a lovingly designed museum that offers fascinating insights into Mozart's childhood, his musical talent and his life in Salzburg.
Original exhibits, historical documents and personal memories bring the story to life and make the visit a special experience for culture enthusiasts from all over the world.
A place where music history becomes tangible - right in the heart of the city.
