Hellbrunn Palace Park

At the beginning of the 17th century, Prince Archbishop Markus Sittikus commissioned the spacious palace complex. The Italian architect Santino Solari built a jewel in the Renaissance style on 60 hectares, creating a unique work of art that is now one of Salzburg's most important recreational areas.

In the park, known as the Wunderkammer of garden architecture, you will find countless sights such as the English Garden, the Stone Theater, the Monatsschlössl and a unique ensemble of water features. After an idyllic walk, you can enjoy an extensive picnic on the palace lawn.

Hellbrunn Palace with its unique trick fountains is perfect for a special experience. The water sprays from all the jets and fountains - but don't worry: you might get a little wet, but certainly not soaked.
