On the road like in imperial times
Wolfgangsee shipping has a long tradition and has been delighting guests from all over the world since 1873. Back then, the historic paddle steamer "Kaiser Franz Josef I" set sail for the first time and was considered a real technical sensation of its time.
The nostalgic ship, which is around 33 meters long, is still part of the fleet today and exudes a very special charm - not least because it has also appeared in numerous films. The fleet is complemented by modern motor ships, above all the flagship "Salzburg".
A boat trip on Lake Wolfgangsee is much more than just getting around - it is an experience: you glide gently over the crystal-clear water, past picturesque villages and nestled in the impressive mountain scenery of the Salzkammergut.
